# Announcement bar

The **Caards** theme includes full support for Ghost’s native **Announcement bar**. This feature allows you to display a short message at the top of your site — great for updates, promotions, or any quick call-to-action.

### Access Ghost Admin

* Log in to your Ghost Admin at `yoursite.com/ghost`

### Navigate to Announcement Bar Settings

* Go to **Settings** > **Site** > **Announcement bar** `yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/announcement-bar`
* Click the **"Customize"** button to open the editor.

### Enable Announcement Bar

* Add the message you want to display in the text field.
* Choose the background color option.
* Select when to display the bar (options: **Logged out visitors**, **Free members, Paid members**)

### Save Changes

* Click **"Save"** to publish your announcement.
