# Comments

Ghost includes a **native commenting system** that allows members to leave comments on your posts.

The **Caards** theme supports this feature out of the box. No extra setup or third-party tools are required.

### Setting up Comments

You can control who can comment across your entire site using the global membership settings.

Follow the steps below to configure comments:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Access Ghost Admin

* Log in to your Ghost Admin at `yoursite.com/ghost`
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Go to Membership Settings

* Navigate to **Settings** > **Membership** `yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/members`
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Choose Option

* Under the **Access** section, choose who can comment:
  * Nobody
  * All members
  * Paid-members only
    {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Save Changes

  {% endstep %}
  {% endstepper %}

### Visibility

Comments will only appear on posts that are accessible to the visitor.\
If a post is restricted (e.g. **Members only**, **Paid-members only**, or **Specific tier**), the comments section will be hidden until the user meets the access requirement.

For more information, visit the official Ghost guide: [Comments](https://ghost.org/help/commenting/)

### Customize

The title of the comments section in Caards can be customized via the theme’s **translation files**.
