# Social links

This theme supports social links in the footer with a dedicated design and behavior, different from regular navigation items.

Social links are added through the [Secondary navigation](/guides/craft/basic-settings/navigation.md#secondary-navigation).

### Step-by-step:

Go to **"Navigation"** in Ghost Admin and click **"Customize"**.

In the **"Secondary"** section, add a new item.

Set the **"Label"** to one of the supported names (see list below).

Set the **"URL"** to your social profile (e.g., <https://instagram.com/yourprofile>).

Click **"Save"** to apply your changes.

Use the exact names below in the **Label** field:
