# Icon

The Publication icon is a native Ghost feature used to visually identify your site. It appears in areas such as the thumbnail placeholder, portal, browser tab (*favicon*), and search results. You can replace the default Ghost icon with your own for better branding.

### Step-by-step:

Go to **"Design & branding"** in Ghost Admin and click **"Customize"**.
