# Lightbox

The Lightbox feature lets visitors click on images inside your content to view them in an enlarged overlay. It enhances the visual experience and works on both posts and pages.\
This feature is enabled by default.

### Step-by-step:

Go to **"Design & branding"** in Ghost Admin and click **"Customize"**.

In the theme settings tab, find the **"Lightbox"** toggle under the **Post** section.

Toggle the option as needed.

Click **"Save"** to apply your changes.

Disabling this option removes the extra HTML and JavaScript required for the lightbox, improving performance for sites that don’t need this feature.
