# Typography

Typography is a native Ghost feature that allows you to customize the fonts used throughout your site. You can choose different typefaces for headings and body text to match your branding and improve readability.

### Step-by-step:

Go to **"Design & branding"** in Ghost Admin and click **"Customize"**.

Under **"Heading font"** and **"Body font"**, use the dropdowns to select your preferred fonts.

Click **"Save"** to apply the changes.

This theme includes optimized local fonts for better performance and consistency. You can adjust them anytime under (**Theme** → **Site wide** → [**Typography**](/guides/craft/customization/site-wide/typography.md)).
