# Thumbnail

The **Thumbnail** option allows you to control the visibility of post images across your site. When disabled, featured images are hidden from the homepage, related posts and archive pages (*tag*, *author*).

This setting is useful for a cleaner, text-focused layout.

Follow the steps below to access the Thumbnail setting:

### Access Ghost Admin

* Log in to your Ghost Admin at `yoursite.com/ghost`

### Navigate to Design Settings

* Go to **Settings** > **Site** > **Design & branding** `yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design`
* Click the **"Customize"** button to open the theme editor.

### Open Theme Settings

* Locate the **Thumbnail** toggle under the **Homepage** section.

### Save Changes

* Click **"Save"** to apply your changes to the site.

Toggle this option to show or hide thumbnails on post cards across your site.
