# Announcement bar

This theme fully supports Ghost’s native Announcement bar, allowing you to display a short message at the top of your site for updates, promotions, or calls to action.

### Step-by-step:

Go to **"Announcement bar"** in Ghost Admin and click **"Customize"**.

Enter the message you want to display.

Choose a background color.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Select when the bar should appear (logged-out visitors, free members, or paid members).

Click **"Save"** to publish your announcement.
