# Accent color

The Accent color is a native Ghost feature used to highlight key elements across your site, including the portal, recommendations, comments, buttons, links, and some editor cards.

Default color: `#15803d`

### Step-by-step:

Go to **"Design & branding"** in Ghost Admin and click **"Customize"**.

Under the **"Accent color"** option, click the color picker to choose a new color.

Click **"Save"** to apply the update.

This theme uses the accent color for buttons, links, and several interface elements. The option is available when using the **Light** or **Dark** [color schemes](/guides/haas/customization/site-wide/color-scheme.md).
