Neue lets you choose how to display the publication cover as your site background, or hide it completely. You can select a visibility option and upload an image that represents your brand.
Follow the steps below to access the cover setting:

Access Ghost Admin
Log in to your Ghost Admin at yoursite.com/ghost

Navigate to Design Settings
Go to Settings > Site > Design & branding yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design
Click the "Customize" button to open the theme editor.

Open Theme Settings
Locate the Cover option under the Site wide section.
Available Options
Site wide (default) – Displays the publication cover as the background across the entire site.
Homepage – Displays the publication cover only on the homepage.
Post – Displays the publication cover only on post pages.
