Drop caps

The Drop caps option lets you display a large, stylized first letter in the opening paragraph of a post — a classic typographic detail often used in editorial design.

This option is available only for posts and is disabled by default.

Follow the steps below to access the Drop caps setting:

Access Ghost Admin

• Log in to your Ghost Admin at yoursite.com/ghost

Navigate to Design Settings

• Go to Settings > Site > Design & branding yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design

• Click the "Customize" button to open the theme editor.

Open Theme Settings

• Locate the Enable drop caps toggle under the Post section.

Toggle this option to enable or disable drop caps on the first paragraph of each post.
