Dark logo

The Sense theme allows you to upload a separate logo for dark mode to ensure your branding remains visible and consistent across all color schemes.

This logo will be used in the following cases:

  • As the default logo when the Dark color scheme is selected.

  • Automatically, when using Light / Dark or Pastel / Dark, and the theme is set to dark mode — either by the user or based on system preferences.

Access Ghost Admin

  • Log in to your Ghost Admin at yoursite.com/ghost

Navigate to Design Settings

  • Go to Settings > Site > Design & branding yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design

  • Click the "Customize" button to open the theme editor.

Open Theme Settings

  • Locate the Dark logo option under the Site wide settings. This option is available only when Dark, Light / Dark, or Pastel / Dark is defined in .

Upload Your Dark Logo

  • Click "Upload logo" and select the image to be used in dark mode.

Save Changes

  • Click "Save" to apply the changes.

To display the dark logo, a must be set. If no publication logo is uploaded, your site title will be used instead.
