Lightbox

The Lightbox feature lets visitors click on images within your content to view them in an enlarged overlay. It enhances the visual experience and works on both posts and pages.

This feature is enabled by default.

Follow the steps below to access the Lightbox setting:

Access Ghost Admin

• Log in to your Ghost Admin at yoursite.com/ghost

Navigate to Design Settings

• Go to Settings > Site > Design & branding yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design

• Click the "Customize" button to open the theme editor.

Open Theme Settings

• Locate the Enable lightbox toggle under the Post section.

Toggle this option to enable or disable the lightbox effect for images.

Disabling this option removes the additional HTML and JavaScript used by the lightbox, improving overall performance for users who don’t need the feature.
