Signup

The Signup section displays a newsletter subscription form near the bottom of the homepage, just above the footer.

It helps convert visitors into subscribers by offering a simple and direct way to join your mailing list. You can customize the title, description, and choose whether to show or hide the section.

Follow the steps below to access the Signup settings:

Access Ghost Admin

• Log in to your Ghost Admin at yoursite.com/ghost

Navigate to Design Settings

• Go to Settings > Site > Design & branding yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design

• Click the "Customize" button to open the theme editor.

Open Theme Settings

• Locate the Signup options under the Homepage section.

Available Fields

• Show signup - Toggle this option to enable or hide the section.

• Title - Main heading of the signup box. Default: Stay in the loop

• Description - Short message inviting users to subscribe. Default: Sign up to receive updates and the latest news from [site title]

Background Image

The Signup section uses your Publication cover as the background image. This field is optional — if no image is uploaded, the section will use a plain background.

If a Publication cover is used, all text in the signup section will appear in white. Make sure to choose an image with enough contrast to ensure readability.
